FAQ (excerpt)¶
Customer-facing summary. Full troubleshooting lives in the plugin archive FAQ.md.
What does Blueprint Outline do?¶
It visualizes Blueprint execution chains as a tree, lets you jump to nodes, search/filter large graphs, inspect dependencies, and export readable documentation. Editor-only — no runtime load.
Which Unreal versions?¶
5.3.x through 5.8.x (Win64 and Mac editor targets).
Where is Dependency Explorer?¶
Docked near Compiler Results. Single-click outline rows to preview; double-click Dependency rows to navigate. See Dependency Explorer.
Why does Written by / Read by say EventGraph?¶
That is expected when the variable access lives on the Event Graph — the line names the graph, not each Set/Get node. Double-click still jumps to the concrete node. See Dependency Explorer → EventGraph.
What is the M menu?¶
Toolbar product hub. Toggle Blueprint Outline; sister tools can join when installed. See M Product Hub.
Comments show as blue balloons — how do I read them?¶
Hover the blue balloon for the comment text; click to edit. Hovering the row label shows node documentation tooltips instead.
How do I get help?¶
Support — email + Support Trace from About (i).
